Finish: Turquoise Resin Baths

Resin bathtubs in general (including stone resin bathtubs) have superior heat retention properties to their acrylic counterparts. Resin baths are more generally sought after by people who like a long soak at the end of the day.

We use a highly durable resin material for our transparent bathtubs which features superior scratch-resistant properties. Like many bathtubs, it is still prone to cracking or denting if impacted by heavy or sharp objects.

Nôsa’s transparent baths weigh between 98kg and 170kg.These baths must be installed on an even subfloor to prevent them from flexing and cracking over time due to their heavy weight.

We recommend rinsing the surface of your clear resin bathtub and drying it gently with a soft cloth after each use. 

You should also give it a thorough deep clean around once a week, or possibly slightly more frequently depending on usage. Water spots and soap scum show up faster on transparent resin than opaque materials, and regular upkeep will help maintain its clear, glossy finish.  

Use warm, soapy water or a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar spray. You may use cleaning products, but please carefully read the instructions and advice on the packaging.
