How do I maintain and care for a stone bath?
Proper maintenance of a stone bath involves regular cleaning with a mild, pH-balanced cleaner specifically designed for natural stone. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sponges that can scratch the surface. For daily stone bath cleaning, we recommend wiping with warm soapy water after each use to remove any residue, then cleaning with a dry microfibre cloth.
Are stone baths durable?
Yes, stone baths are incredibly durable and can last for decades with proper care and maintenance. They are resistant to chips and scratches and can be easily repaired if damage does occur.
What are Nôsa stone baths made of?
Our stone baths are crafted from stone mixed with a superior, high-performance resin. This innovative material is specifically designed to elevate our bathroom products, offering a luxurious natural aesthetic favoured by interior designers and luxury homeowners across the globe. Each Nôsa stone bath has a unique finish, as well as incredible strength and durability, which is backed by our lifetime warranty.
Can a stone bath be installed in a small bathroom?
The Nôsa stone bath collection is designed to suit a wide range of bathroom styles and sizes, with baths starting from 1500mm. We recommend taking a look at the effortlessly elegant Vermont Stone Bath or the exceptional Chloe Fluted Freestanding Bath. To discuss individual bathroom requirements, do not hesitate to get in touch with our Client Service Team on 020 3750 1110.
How long does a stone bath last?
A stone bath can last around 20 years; however, with proper care and maintenance, the lifespan can be significantly extended. We are incredibly proud of the craftsmanship of our stone resin products, and our commitment to excellence is reflected in our lifetime guarantee on all stone baths.
Are stone baths comfortable?
Stone baths are designed with ergonomics in mind. Although they may feel cooler to the touch initially, they retain heat well once filled with warm water, providing a comfortable and luxurious bathing experience.
Are stone baths heavy?
Yes, stone baths are significantly heavier than other types of bathtubs, such as acrylic or fibreglass. Due to their weight and the intricacies involved in plumbing and ensuring the bath is level, it is highly recommended to have your bath installed by professionals who have experience with these types of stone baths.
Are stone baths environmentally friendly?
Natural stone is a sustainable material when sourced responsibly, and Nôsa is committed to ethical quarrying practices. The long lifespan of a stone bath means fewer resources are used over time, and the stone material is fully recyclable. While the initial cost of a stone bath is significantly higher than a standard acrylic bath, the heat-retaining properties and durability of the stone material soon outweigh the price.
What accessories go with a stone bath?
At Nôsa, our stone bath collection is complemented by our range of premium stone basins, vanity units and luxury toilets. We also offer the perfect finishing touch to each stone bath with superior-quality bath taps in an array of luxury finishes.
Can Nôsa stone baths be customised?
Absolutely. We offer a bespoke service to match individual needs and preferences regarding dimensions, shapes, and finishes. To personalise your Nôsa bathroom experience, contact our Client Services Team on 020 3750 1110.
