Measuring Guide
Before you order, it’s important to accurately measure your space so you get the right amount of tiles - without over or underestimating.
For Floor Areas
Measure the length and width of your bathroom floor in metres.
Multiply the two measurements: Length × Width = Total square metres (m²)
If the space is irregular, divide it into sections, calculate each area, then add them together.
For Wall Areas
Measure the height and width of each wall you plan to tile.
Multiply the two to calculate the area: Height × Width = Wall m²
Subtract any large windows, doors, or fixed features if necessary.
Add a Contingency
We recommend ordering at least 10% more than your measured area to allow for cuts, wastage, and future repairs - our handy flooring calculator allows you to do this option when using it.
For diagonal patterns or large-format tiles, consider increasing this to 15%.
